THE DESIGN PROCESS

Since I had to focus on photography, I took it upon myself to not only collect photos that were important to me, but also get used to being in front of the camera. I had some help with my dear friend Stephanie being at the helm of the camera and encouraging me. Once we captured enough photos it was time to move onto the book itself with the overall design and the body copy itself. The overall design was quite simple but it really was bound together with the color red and the images. Text was the main aspect of the book so I really focused on how was balanced to the rest of the design​. Once the preliminary design was done, it came time to make the mock of the book and belly band in black and white in order to see if what we see on the screen translates well into reality.
